Each year BioPharm accepts 20 students into the program. The program retention rate is very high for a reason – our students are carefully chosen with two thoughts in mind, is the student right for the program, and is the program right for the student. We aim to graduate highly skilled and knowledgeable students, who are employable right out of this program – or first choice for professional schools such as Medical School or School of Pharmacy.

Applicants are required to submit an online application and additional documentation, including a statement of interest and resume. The statement of interest must be a maximum of 1 page, 12-point font, and outline your interest in the program and how it would help you achieve future career ambitions. The resume must outline all work-related experience including volunteer opportunities.

Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview. Interviews typically occur in March, can be in person or virtual. Interviews are 20-30min in length and often led by the Program Director and Director of the Science Coop office. Applicants who miss their scheduled interview time will forfeit their position in the application pool.

Conditional offers are typically sent in March and April via email. All applicants will be contacted by May with an update on their status.
