The BioPharm program is an upper year entry program and applications are not accepted directly from high school. Students are encouraged to apply for a program in the Faculty of Health Sciences or Faculty of Sciences for the first two years and then apply to the BioPharm program at that time. The admission requirements for the BioPharm program are:
- Students can apply for the BioPharm program after completing two years of study, most commonly in a Biology, Science, or Health Sciences program.
- Minimum requirement is a GPA of 5.0, typical cutoff is 8.0 or higher.
- Course requirements for admission: Level I and II of an undergraduate program such as Life Science, Health Science, Chemical Biology or Biochemistry.
- BIOLOGY 2A03 or HTHSCI 2F03 and HTHSCI 2FF3.
- Level 1 Chemistry (6 credits or 2 courses) and Level 1 Biology (6 credits or 2 courses)
- Level 2 general science courses (6 credits or 2 courses)
- Target enrollment is 22.
- Applicants are required to submit additional documentation, including a statement of interest and resume. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview.
