Course Enrollment

Enrollment for the next academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring) opens every June. Each student will receive an email outlining what day and time they can register. It is important to register as soon as you can to have the greatest options. If you have questions about what courses are required, highly recommended or optional, please view the course calendar. If you require assistance building a timetable for the next academic year, reach out in May and book an appointment.

Expandable List

Each year program students are required to take courses from the course list. These courses are not mandatory, but 4-5 courses from the list must be complete by the time of graduation. Since all the courses are not a mandatory part of the program, seats cannot be held or reserved for program students. If you are interested in a course and it is full, or space is being held for other faculty/programs, it is the student’s responsibility to check back and try to get in. The BioPharm Program Office cannot create extra seats in a course, nor are there waiting lists. Reserved seats are often released the middle of July to beginning of Aug. Students often drop or swap courses the end of Aug and first week of Sept. These are your best times to try to get into a course that is full.

If you cannot get into one of the course list courses, or find another course you feel would benefit your academic career, visit the program adjustments tab for more information.

Each year there are updates and revisions as new courses are added. The most up to date course list can be found in the undergraduate calendar.

Level 3 students are required to take 3-6 credits from the course list.

Level 4 students are required to take 6 credits from the course list.

Level 5 students are required to take 3 credits from the course list.

BioPharm students will have 3 co-op placements during their time in the program. The schedule of when these coop placements typically occur is charted below. Some modifications may be possible, such as extending a coop placement from 4 months to 8 months, contact the BioPharm Program Office for more information.
