The BioPharm program is the longest standing undergrad coop program at McMaster University and as such, we can rely heavily on the testimonies of our alumni! Here is what some of our graduating students and alumni have said about our program. If you would like to provide testimonies about your time while in the program, please reach out to the BioPharm Program Office.

“This program had such a positive influence on my undergrad journey and I hope other students find it the same way.” Alumnus, 2023

“I have learned so much this year, and have grown and matured as a person. This program allows for more personalized learning and a significant amount of hands-on opportunities that can prepare us properly for the next step.” Alumnus, 2023

“I’m pretty happy with what this program uniquely provides” Alumnus, 2023

“Overall, I enjoy the program and the people, and I can confidently say that I have learned a lot more than I have in my previous specialization.” Alumnus, 2023

Each year, approximately one third of the graduating class will enter the work force, primarily in the drug industry or government. Another third will enter a professional school such as the School of Pharmacy or Medical School. The remaining third typically continue their education, often at McMaster or the University of Toronto in the medical sciences programs or further specializing in programs such as Biotechnology.
